Pregnant woman, two others killed in Taraba

 A pregnant woman and two others were reportedly killed in the early hours of yester­day when gunmen attacked Igoh village in Donga Local Government area of Taraba State.

Two of the women from the same husband were killed while working on their farm at the outskirts of Igoh village, while the other was gunned down while attempting to flee on sighting the attack­ers.

Locals said the attack caused mass exodus of people from the area, even as another woman was discovered in a pool of her blood with her left hand cut off.

This is the second time in less than a month that the village is coming un­der attack. The attackers have killed over 12 peo­ple in their first attack over three weeks ago.

Police Public Rela­tions Officer, PPRO, ASP Joseph Kwaji, an Assis­tant Superintendent of Police, ASP, confirmed the attack, but said only two women from the same husband were killed, while another woman was left with machete wounds.
