Some pupils have been kidnapped by armed bandits in Ekiti State. The schoolchildren who attend Apostolic Faith School were abducted alongside their head teacher and a driver.

Sources told CRACO that the victims were kidnapped after school hours in Emure, Ekiti State.

“The pupils were kidnapped while going to Eporo Ekiti from Emure on their school bus,” said one of the sources.

It was gathered that the incident caused panic among residents in the town who are now appealing to security agencies for protection.

The police spokesman in Ekiti, Sunday Abutum, could not be immediately reached for comment
