The incident happened at Ikotun area of Lagos. We learnt her offence was that she caused a ladder to fall down from it’s position.

Speaking in Yoruba, the little girl said her father was not home when the ladder fell, but on getting home, he accused her of causing the ladder to fall, and started beating her with electric wire that caused her the injury.

Apart from the injury and swollen eye, a wound can be seen on her left arm as well.
