An Ekiti Poly student has stated that satan made him rape 16-year-old admission seeker.

Femi Adejuwon, an Accounting student of the Federal Polytechnic Ado-Ekiti, Ekiti State, has blamed the devil for raping a 16-year-old secondary school leaver in Akure, Ondo State.

According to the victim, on Sunday, April 12, 2020 he called her on phone to meet him in his friend’s place at Ijoka, however, on getting there, the suspect took her in, shut the door and forcefully violated her.

She was later rescued in a pool of her blood and rushed to the Police Clinic, Akure. The suspect was subsequently arrested.

He, however, pleaded for mercy, regretting his crime and promised to turn over a new leaf. He said that he was pushed to commit the crime by the devil and had regretted his action.

This confessional statement has sparked outrage on various social media platform with many calling for the law to take its full course.
